Today we had the privilege of working on our customers Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 once again. He was looking to add a more aggressive/custom look in addition to the STEALTH Paint Protection Film Wrap.

First we removed the old XPEL STEALTH Paint Protection Film previously installed by another shop in the area. Their installation quality left much to be desired with gloss edges slowing around the whole panel.

We performed a Custom Installation of STEK USA DYNOblack Paint Protection Film on the A-Pilar Section of the vehicle. STEK DYNOblack Paint Protection Film retains all of the same protection against rock chips, scratches, insects, bird droppings, road oils, yellowing, and watermarks but gives a glossy black finish. Compared to traditional vinyl it provides much more protection and durability, as well as less orange peel and glossier finish that mimics real paint!

The finished results look stunning, the DYNOblack Paint Protection Film adds a more aggressive look and offsets the STEALTH finish on the vehicle. The owners was extremely pleased with the attention to detail in our Custom Installation and the fact we were able to hide all traces of the Gray finish underneath!

When it comes to keeping your car looking sharp and well-maintained, the right Paint Protection Film (PPF) can make all the difference. As a car owner, you’ve probably wondered: Should I choose a glossy finish or stick with a matte one? This decision ties into your personal style and the message you want your vehicle to convey. There are a number of factors at play—from aesthetic preferences to practical considerations. Think of PPF as the wardrobe choice for your car: do you want it to shine like a polished dress shoe, or would you prefer a sleek and understated vibe like a pair of cool sneakers? Glossy finishes reflect light beautifully, making colors pop, while matte finishes lend a sophisticated edge that hides imperfections. Both finishes have their perks, and I’ve seen them in action on various vehicles. Trust me—each finish brings out unique aspects of any car. Let’s dive into the details of both gloss and matte PPF, so you can make an informed decision for your car’s look and protection.

Driving your daily car can sometimes feel like a never-ending battle against the elements. From road debris and rock chips to bird droppings, UV rays, and harsh weather conditions, keeping your vehicle’s paint looking pristine is no easy task. Fortunately, Paint Protection Film (PPF) has emerged as a reliable solution to shield your car from these threats. But is it really worth the cost for your daily driver? In this blog, we’ll dive into the benefits, cost comparisons, installation process, and maintenance tips of PPF, so you can decide if it’s the right investment for your everyday ride. What Is Paint Protection Film (PPF)? Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent, durable film designed to protect a vehicle’s paint from physical damage like scratches, rock chips, and other abrasions. Made from urethane, a highly flexible and resilient material, PPF works like a shield, absorbing impacts and protecting the paint underneath. The film is self-healing, which means that minor scratches or swirl marks vanish when exposed to heat, whether from sunlight or hot water. In essence, PPF acts as a "bodyguard" for your vehicle, offering long-lasting protection against the harsh elements that constantly threaten your car’s finish.
